KUALA LUMPUR:- The International Deaf Day, with the theme "Equality as One Community in the Church", was celebrated on September 30, 2018 at the Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The celebrations of Holy Mass (with interpreted in sign language) at 9.15am was presided by His Grace Archbishop Julian Leow. Parish priest, Fr Edwin Peter was the con-celebrant.
KAMPUNG PANDAN:- This year, the nine day Novena and Mass for the feast celebrations of Our Lady of Good Health with the anchored theme "Mary, Intercessor of Good Health", started on a meaningful and solemn footing on August 31, 2018 at the Chapel of Our Lady of Good Health. More than 900 faithful from far and near converged at the evening celebrations and witnessed the flag raising or hoisting by both Fr Simon Lau and Fr Christopher W. Soosaipillai.
FORGIVENESS IS THE WAY FORWARD TO TURN THE 'COIN' BACK FROM HATE TO LOVE
KUALA LUMPUR:- The preaching on Day 4 (June 9, 2018) of the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus continues with the focus or reflection on Forgiveness. Fr Lawrence Ng CDD, the preacher for the five days parish feast of the Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus (SHC) said forgiveness is something we all want to receive, but difficult to give.
COMPASSION IS UNDERSTANDING THE TROUBLES OF OTHERS
KUALA LUMPUR:-The feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus continues with Day 2,on June 7, 2018 focusing on COMPASSION.
Fr Lawrence Ng CDD was the preacher at the evening Mass, who quoted several scripture texts about Jesus compassion; and said the Gospel Reading today stated that you have to love God with all your heart, with all your mind, with all your soul and with all your strength.

A Celebration of Independence
In commemoration of Africa Day, Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus celebrated Africa’s independence, freedom and liberation strife from colonial imperialists. Coinciding with Pentecost on 20th May, the church celebrated the feast with a twist; by welcoming our African brethren, who also animated the Mass; in the hopes of raising awareness, and showcasing their culture and heritage to the local community.
